Todd E. Helton, MD, PhD

Todd E. Helton, MD, PhD, a Virginia native, has been practicing Internal Medicine at Boylan Medical since 2001. He received a BS in Animal Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In 1992 Dr. Helton received his PhD from East Carolina University School of Medicine and he received his Medical Degree in 1998 also from East Carolina University. Dr. Helton completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Duke University. In 2001 he became Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Helton has been married to his wife Dr. Mary Beth Helton since 1995. They have two children, Anna Elizabeth and Edward. When away from the office, Dr. Helton enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Helton enjoys playing golf and is an active member in his church.
